A friend of mine named Matt is a phenomenal artist. He and I grew up together drawing comic book characters and Matt went on to make a career of it. A couple of years ago he illustrated a fake movie poster for “Lando” (featured on my home page) that looked like the old “Shaft” movie poster. A guy named Marcus saw the artwork and contacted Matt saying that his dad directed a black version of Star Wars. Matt decided it would be fun to dig around and explore the rumblings about this supposed 1980’s Blaxploitation film that takes place in the Star Wars universe.
