This month the box that arrived from the McSweeney's Book Release Club was unusually large. The awkwardly shaped children's book immediately sparked my curiosity. At first glance I thought I could finish reading this board book in under 5 minutes, but the intricate illustrations can keep your eyes on it for far longer. The book takes you on a mysterious journey through 13 floors of an apartment building, filled with comical and quirky characters. It wasn't until researching further that I discovered that the story and images are a map to unearth clues for a real buried treasure. I'm still a little confused by the online spectacle that exists outside of the physical book. Many are already on the hunt for one of twelve "emerald-studded numbers" designed by Anna Sheffield. I would really love to see what these look like.

Currently, Apple's stock is at an all time high. A share today is worth over 40 times its value seven years ago. So, how much would you have today if you purchased stock instead of an Apple product?

One fucked up, religious Mind. I don't pray for her because there is no god, but I think she should see a doctor.

Nette Idee, eigentlich. Leider erinnert sie doch sehr stark an einen Sony Bravia-Spot, auch wenn die Macher das nicht gerne hören werden.

Five years before Toy Story proved to the world that pure CGI — a field long relegated to the role of special effects — could be an art form in its own right, Odyssey Productions attempted to do the same on a slightly smaller scale. Drawing on the demo reels, commercials, music videos, and feature films of over 300 digital animators, the studio collated dozens of cutting-edge clips into an ambitious 40-minute art film called The Mind's Eye.
