Octopus klaut eine Kamera und dreht damit ‘nen Film

Ich glaube ja, Octopi sind tatsächlich ziemliche Arschgeigen. Ich hatte mal hier irgendwo eine Story von einem Octopus namens Otto (kein Scheiß), der das Licht im Aquarium ausgeschossen hat und auch sonst nur Bockmist baute, und zwar weil es ihm zu hell war. Arschloch.
Und jetzt das hier: Ein Octopus findet die Kamera von Victor Huang super, klaut sie, während sie weiterläuft und dreht einen Film. Ja, okay, den letzten Teil habe ich ein bisschen aufgesext, aber der Rest stimmt. Jetzt mal ehrlich: Was muss man denn bitte für ‘ne egoistische, achtarmige Drecksau sein, um ‘nem Taucher die Kamera wegzuklauen?

Albert Einstein, the genius physicist whose theories changed our ideas of how the universe works, died 55 years ago, on April 18, 1955, of heart failure. He was 76. His funeral and cremation were intensely private affairs, and only one photographer managed to capture the events of that extraordinary day: LIFE magazine's Ralph Morse. Armed with his camera and a case of scotch — to open doors and loosen tongues — Morse compiled a quietly intense record of an icon's passing. But aside from one now-famous image (above), the pictures Morse took that day were never published. At the request of Einstein's son, who asked that the family's privacy be respected while they mourned, LIFE decided not to run the full story, and for 55 years Morse's photographs lay unseen and forgotten.

[update] Hier war mal ein Bild zu sehen, auf dem ein Student in Cambridge zu sehen ist, während Stephen Hawking im Hintergrund vorbeifährt. James (der Mensch auf dem Bild) schreibt mir:

I am a student at Cambridge University and have been asked to remove this photograph by faculty members, and as I value my degree and would like to stay here to finish it, I would appreciate it if you could kindly take down the photo from the “Nerdcore” page, as the initial sites have.

Gesagt, getan, ich schnappe mir meine Freundin und geh raus, positioniere mich vor ein bisschen Grün und ein bisschen Cambridge-Architektur in der Sonne, lächle auf meine Banker-Art in die Kamera und meine Freundin knipst so und dann kommt dieser verfickte theoretische Space-Physiker und Entdecker der schwarzen Löcher, rollt mit seinem Luxus-Vierrad-Segway inklusive Sitzmöglichkeit und sprechender Tastatur ins Motiv und ruiniert mein fucking Foto! James Clars Big Fat Kick Drum-Art
James Clar hat aus der Wellenlängen-Visualisierung des Sounds einer Kick Drum eine Skulptur gebaut. Waveform Transmission (Wikipedia), anyone?
This piece takes the kick drum sample from a TR-909 electronic drum machine and recreates the sound wave as a physical sculpture. The sound property of Reverb describes how sounds bounce off physical objects to create echoes. Every environment creates different echoes and re-echoes. „Reverb: My Big Fat Kick Drum“ recreates this effect visually in a mirror material. In every environment it is placed, the piece visually echoes its physical surroundings.
