The Moz hacked into Google Earth

The Google hack insert is a pixeled replica of Morrissey’s pose on the 1986 The Queen Is Dead LP, right at the virtual replica of the location at St Ignatius Walk in Salford, M5 3RX, United Kingdom, where the army of Moz-coiffed adorable clones ride bicycles in the “Stop Me If You Think You’ve Heard This One Before” video.
CC-licensed eBook on Lucid Dreaming
Anyone can learn to have lucid dreams, and this ebook tells you how. Lucid dreams are those dreams where you become aware you are dreaming, and can even begin to control the reality of the dream. Adventure, problem-solving and consequence-free indulgence await! And for those interested in the mind, lucid dreams are a great place to explore the nature of their own consciousness. The ebook is written as a sort of travel guide, telling you what you need to take on your journey and what to expect when you start to lucid dream. It finishes off with a quick review of the scientific literature on lucid dreaming and links and references for further reading if you want to continue your exploration of lucid dreaming.
I wrote this with friend, and lucid dreamer, Cat Bardsley. My wife Harriet Cameron provided some beautiful illustrations which you can find throughout the book (and on the cover you can see here). The book is Creative Commons licensed so you can copy it and share it as you will, and even modify and improve (as long as you keep the CC licensing). It’s available on smashwords on a pay-what-you-want-basis (and that includes nothing, so it is yours for free if you’d like).
Marvel Exec blogs Original Artworks from the Silver Age

[Vignette:] From the original artwork to the first Spider-Man story from AMAZING FANTASY #15, now held by the Smithsonian Museum. Here, the splash page logo stat is lifted to reveal the original title lettering underneath. Additionally, you can see where a web-pattern has been whited out around the logo and the tiny Spider-Man figure. Artwork by Steve Ditko.
[Seite:] I showed a vignette of this page yesterday, but here’s the whole thing, the first page to the first Spider-Man story from AMAZING FANTASY #15 as drawn by Steve Ditko. Again, you can see where, at the top, the original logo, the web pattern and the box it all was in were all whited out and replaced with a stat of a different Spider-Man logo. Additionally, Liz Allan’s face was corrected to make her prettier, I believe by Al Hartley.

Von Youtube-Kommentator majorkahuna: „[This] was a 1984 state of the art multimedia slide show with audio by Ray Parker Jr. who sang the original. There were also live dancers on the stage. This was the opening presentation of the International Sales Meeting that introduced the Lightwriter later renamed Laserwriter. Apple always used a current movie as a them for the sales meetings. In 1985 it was Back to the Future.“

Sehr schöner Clip der Tate Modern Gallery mit einem kurzen Interview mit Maurice Sendak, Kinderbuch-Illustrator und Autor von Where the Wild Things are. „My work has always been considered inappropriate; but the ones that I love… the ones that I think work as works of art… are inappropriate.“
Beer in Space-Tourism ready for Liftoff

Ob da draufsteht „I became pissed in space and all I’ve got was this lousy T-Shirt“ weiß ich allerdings nicht.
You’ll be amongst the first human beings to take part in the next frontier of space exploration, and go where no man (or woman) has gone before. You’ll pass through the Kármán line, the official height of space at 100 kilometers / 62 miles altitude where you’ll be weightless for 5–10 minutes, with a view that will simply take your breath away. The beer you’ll drink has been specifically brewed for consumption in space, and is officially certified as space beer.
It’s one small thirst for man, one giant first for mankind.
Tour includes:
- Space flight or zero gravity flight
- 2 to 3 days preparing for space flight
- Introduction to consuming liquids in space
- Vostok Space Beer (brewed by our mates at 4 Pines Brewing Company)
- One hell of a party afterwards (Thirsty Swagman style of course)
- Extras incl. video production, space beer shirt, astronaut certificate etc.
- The most incredible view of earth you’ve ever had through a bottleBeer in Space flights are planned for 2012 / 2013 from US$95,000 (space flight) and from $9,900 (zero gravity / parabolic flight).

DJ Foods Kraftwerk-Cover-Mix

Soundcloud Direktkraftwerk, via Testspiel
I do these hour long mixes every year or so featuring cover versions, sample-heavy tracks or songs that obviously owe a debt to the Dusseldorf quartet. Each mix is laced with spoken word, interviews or info about Kraftwerk too. This one is from 14/12/07 and was originally aired on Solid Steel. I had the idea several years ago and the more I dug, the more I found, the amount of material out there is mind boggling. Not so strange for such an influential band who rarely release new material I suppose, fans have to fill the gap somehow. I’ll be uploading the previous 4 volumes in 2012, Volume 6 is already on here and I have vol.7 planned out and waiting for a gap in the schedule to put together.
