Die New York Times hat einen spannenden Artikel über das San Antonio Gefängnis auf Margarita Island in Venezuela, in dem 2000 vor allem wegen Drogendelikten festgehaltene Gefangene vor allem Parties feiern und im Pool planschen.

Paintings of the Playboy logo adorn the pool hall. Inmates and their guests jostle to place bets at the prison’s raucous cockfighting arena.
“The Venezuelan prisoners here run the show, and that makes life inside a bit easier for us all,” said Fernando Acosta, 58, a Mexican pilot jailed since 2007. His cellmate, a Congolese businessman, had hired him to fly a Gulfstream jet that prosecutors accuse them of planning to use for smuggling two tons of cocaine to West Africa.
It is not uncommon for armed inmates to exercise a certain degree of autonomy in Venezuela’s penitentiaries. Prisoners with BlackBerries and laptops have arranged drug deals, abductions and murders from their cells, the police say, a legacy of decades of overcrowding, corruption and insufficient guards.
But San Antonio prison, renowned on Margarita Island as a relatively tranquil place where even visitors can go for sinful weekend partying, is in a class of its own.

Wahrscheinlich, weil’s stimmt.

And even more chilling, the cinema icon’s death was not an accidental drug overdose, but a slaying carried out by an FBI strike force to prevent her from biting her lover – President John F. Kennedy.

We still do the same things together, but now, she’s sometimes busy doing an interview or TV show. My life is a little more difficult because sometimes she acts like she is a star (often when she asks me for some bread).

All 13 minutes of the completed fake Doctor Who 80s-style anime. Drawn, animated and partially voiced by myself. Some bits are good, some bits are poor, but on the whole it turned out okay, I think. Enjoy! This is old school Who, so fans of the new reboot show may be confused by the fact that the Doctor is doing martial arts and Cybermen say “excellent.” Watch the classics and you’ll understand. You’ll also become almost instantly more handsome by watching classic Who.
PS – for those complaining about total lack of story or narrative in this clip, I did always state from the start that it was only going to be an extended trailer with no plot. Think of it as highlights from a 24 epsiode series if there was one.

Cop Hard ist eine Webserie von Charles C. Custer, Regisseur von Van Diemens Land, einem Film über einen australischen Kannibalen im 19. Jahrhundert. Die Serie handelt von den Abenteuern des Polizisten Larry Hard, der mal als Stripper arbeitet, einen Clown jagt oder sich mit seinem Vorgesetzten und den restlichen Kollegen einen Mexican Standoff liefert, weil der eine Kollegen bei ihrem Vortrag unterbrochen hatte, während dem sie grade ankündigte, jetzt vor allem ein bisschen masturbieren zu wollen.
Ich hab’ mir die Folgen grade oberflächlich quer angesehen und das Tempo aus dem Trailer (erster Clip in der Playlist oben) wird nicht wirklich durchgehalten, unterhaltsam und weird ist Cop Hard aber allemal. Hier die offizielle Seite, dort funktioniert aber das Javascript nicht bei mir.
