Traktor DJ für’s iPad
Youtube Direktrichie, via Ronny

Most Useless Machine as Metaphor for Politics
Youtube Direktmachine, via Boing Boing
Halloween Costumes with iPhone-FX
Youtube Direkthalloween, via Marco, danke Maatc!
Wilcos Timelapsed Misunderstood live in Chicago and an interactive Book
You gotta love Wilco!
A document of Wilco’s December 2011 Incredible Shrinking Tour of Chicago, during which they played a succession of intimate venues as a “thank you” to hometown fans. The book features exclusive photos of the shows, backstage video footage and audio, documenting this unique week of shows of one of America’s foremost rock bands.

Monty Pythons Holy iPad-App

Von The Verge:
Overall, there’s 70 minutes of never-before-seen video, including recent visits by the cast to various filming locations around Scotland like the “Bridge of Death” and “Castle Aaargh.” There’s also a day-by-day diary from Michael Palin (who played Sir Galahad) and 360-degree views of key props, like Arthur’s helmet and the titular holy grail. All of this content is presented beautifully, with fonts, animations, and graphics all inspired by and consistent with the film’s design.
“The holy chapters” providers an alternate way to view much of this content; instead of organizing it by shooting date, it follows along with the film scene-by-scene. Each chapter has links to the outtakes, still photos, diary, and script, and provides a quick link to jump back into the “book of days” section to get the grim details behind the shoot. Additionally, if you purchased the recently-released Blu-ray reissue, you can sync this app to your internet-connected Blu-ray player and use it as a “second screen” to control the movie and pull up material relevant to the scene you’re watching.

The Fantastic Oscarnominated Flying Books of Mr Morris Lessmore
Inspired, in equal measures, by Hurricane Katrina, Buster Keaton, The Wizard of Oz, and a love for books, “Morris Lessmore” is a story of people who devote their lives to books and books who return the favor. Morris Lessmore is a poignant, humorous allegory about the curative powers of story. Using a variety of techniques (miniatures, computer animation, 2D animation) award winning author/ illustrator William Joyce and Co-director Brandon Oldenburg present a new narrative experience that harkens back to silent films and M-G-M Technicolor musicals. “Morris Lessmore” is old fashioned and cutting edge at the same time.
Film Awards Won by “The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore”
To date, “The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore” film has drummed up fans all over the world taking home the following awards:
· Cinequest Film Fest: Best Animated Short
· Palm Springs International ShortFest: Audience Favorite Award
· SIGGRAPH: Best in Show

Undestructable iCases made from Paper you can draw on

Our products are made of organic materials. Their skin is our patented paper composite which consists of several alyers of paper and bio-polymers. The other ingredients are cotton, sheep wool produced by happy Australian sheep and a pull-strap made from hemp fibers.
Have a look around and ask yourself: why are most sleeves or covers for mobile elctronic devices made from plastic? You may find that plastic lasts for a long time – in most cases it lasts a lot longer than desired and therefore becomes a problem to dispose of. If most electronic devices are designed to last just a couple of years, why do you need a sleeve that lasts for eternity? Paper is a soothingly analogue material – the perfect counterbalance to the metal and plastic world that surrounds us. Paper ages in grace, it becomes increasingly valuable as it collects marks and traces and by doing that it becomes a canvas for your own memories: it begins to tell your story. That’s why we use paper.
iTree – iPod-Dock made from a Tree

The iTree is a top-quality iPhone and iPod docking station made out of a simple tree trunk. This is hollowed out using a special technique and specialized tools, expertly proportioned to produce optimum sound quality.
Each iTree is unique – costumers choose the wood, the length and the built-in technology. They can even take a ride through the forest and pick out their own tree. The iTree is then made by hand in the “Steirische Vulkanland” region of southern Austria by carpenters “Tischlerei Lenz”, keeping the iTree local. There are currently three types of iTree – cherry, poplar and spruce – however, almost any kind of wood can be used. The iTree is compatible with any iPhone, iPod docking station, W Lan stream unit or CD player. It can even be fitted out with a turntable.
Designers KMKG believe that good design is based on experience, it’s personal, it has a “Heimat” (“home”) and has as little design as possible. Just like the iTree.

Radio Soulwax App

Ok, so it’s a radio station, but not as you know it. For now, it’s a growing collection of 24 one hour-long mixes with visuals that we are sharing with you for free, and hopefully it will become a platform for many more things to come. We call them mixes, but in reality they are more like musical films based on the record sleeves.
Every hour has a different musical and visual theme (always based on the covers), to eventually make for a varied day-long radio schedule that will remain online in a rotated and continuous loop.
Over the next few months we will be adding a new show every week, culminating in a 24-hour musical and visual ‘experience’. Sorry, we couldn’t think of a better word than experience.
We have no idea how you will experience this, though, whether it will be too intense or too much to take in, or perhaps not enough. All we know is that we love it and had to do it, even though everyone called us crazy.
We spent ages trying to get everything to sound, look and feel right. We hope you appreciate this labour of love as it has taken a ridiculous amount of work.
Hello and welcome to RADIO SOULWAX, hier die Website dazu (Coming Soon) (via Testspiel)
iPad-App: On the way to Woodstock

(Youtube Direktwoodstock, via Gizmodo)

Planetary iPad-App: Music-Lib as Galaxy
(Vimeo Direktgalactic, via )
Planetary is an all-new, stunningly beautiful way to explore your music collection, available only on iPad. Fly through a 3D universe dynamically created by information about the recording artists you love. Visit planets that represent your favorite albums and control the playback of your music on iPad by browsing and selecting astronomical objects.

Ataris Greates Hits auf dem iPad
(Youtube Direktatari, via Kotaku)
Hach!
Aus einem Review auf Touch Arcade:
Atari’s Greatest Hits [link] is a free Universal application for the iPhone and iPad that comes bundled with their first game ever, the 1972 classic Pong. And, while the games-for-free situation ends there, the fun certainly doesn’t — not by a long shot.
By way of in-app purchases, Atari’s Greatest Hits can deliver to your iOS device up to 99 more games from the historical studio’s back catalog, a mix of both arcade and (then) cartridge-based VCS / 2600 releases that you just might’ve grown up with. These games can be had in four-title game packs available at $0.99 each, as well as in a 68MB lump download of the entire library for $14.99.

Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery is here

S:S&S EP is a 21st century interpretation of the archetypical old school videogame adventure, designed exclusively for Apple’s touchtronic machinery.
It’s a mix of laid-back exploration, careful investigation & mysterious musical problem-solving occasionally punctuated by hard-hitting combat encounters. S:S&S EP is an unusual genre-bending effort with an emphasis on sound, music & audiovisual style that has been positioned as ‘a brave experiment in Input Output Cinema’.
S:S&S EP is an unusual collaborative project made in the experimental independent videogame hotspot of Toronto, Canada. It has been built around the songs & sounds of composer/rockstar Jim Guthrie, whose discography includes solo efforts Morning, Noon, Night, Now More Than Ever, as well as the Juno award-winning Alone At The Microphone by Royal City. S:S&S EP features the internationally recognized art & design style of Superbrothers, whose illustrations & short films have appeared in a variety of exhibitions & publications. S:S&S EP is entirely made possible by the award-winning independent videogame studio Capy, creators of the critically acclaimed Critter Crunch & Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes, with Capy creative director Kris Piotrowski overseeing the project’s strange evolution.

iPad GUI-Study with Fingerprints

My method involved cleaning the iPad’s surface with a microfiber cloth, using an app for a short amount of time, then turning the screen off. Next, I photographed the iPad, positioning a light source and some black matte board to limit distracting reflections. I then brought the photographs into Adobe Illustrator, and created vectors of the iPad and the fingerprints to emphasize the data.
