Roulette-Ball made from Michael Jacksons Hair
Eine Spieler-Website hat eine Locke von Michael Jacksons Haar ersteigert und will daraus eine Roulette-Kugel machen lassen.
The gambling website purchased a lock of the late pop icon’s hair from an online memorabilia vendor, Gotta Have Rock & Roll, for $10,871. The hair was reportedly collected at New York’s Carlyle Hotel, where Jackson once stayed while attending a charity event.
“As its proud new owners, we have decided to convert Michael Jackson’s hair into a roulette ball — an appropriately unique way to immortalize a small part of a truly peerless entertainer,” the gambling site announced of their plans for their new acquisition.

Some of Lee’s family do not approve of the macabre scarecrows.
“I was yelled at by my grandpa. He said his spirit could come back and haunt us, but I think it would be nice if Michael could come over,” Lee said.

PopCap Games hat im neuesten Update von „Plants vs Zombies“ den tanzenden Michael Jackson-Zombie rausnehmen müssen, weil seine Hinterbliebenen mit Anwälten gedroht haben. Keine Erbsen mehr für Pixel-Jackso.
The Estate of Michael Jackson objected to our use of the ‘dancing zombie’ in PLANTS vs. ZOMBIES based on its view that the zombie too closely resembled Michael Jackson. After receiving this objection, PopCap made a business decision to retire the original ‘dancing zombie’ and replace it with a different ‘dancing zombie’ character for future builds of PLANTS vs.ZOMBIES on all platforms. The phase-out and replacement process is underway.

Michael Jackson, a shy pixie in a red leather jacket and jeans, stands in shadow in the theater’s entryway, talking with actress Ola Ray and director John Landis. The camera crew is making final preparations for a crane shot that will pan down from the marquee as Jackson and Ray, playing a couple on a date, emerge from the theater. Judging from the saucy looks she is sending his way, Ray is clearly besotted by her leading man, who responds by casually throwing an arm around her shoulders.
I am on set covering the shoot for Life magazine. Landis says that he needs a “ticket girl” in the background and orders me to sit in the booth—a prime spot from which to watch the performances.
Just before calling “Action,” Landis fortifies his actors with boisterous encouragement.
“How are you going to be in this shot?” he shouts.
“Wonderful,” Jackson chirps, barely audibly.
Seconds later Jackson steps into his nimbus of light, and it is as if he flips on an internal switch: he smiles, he glows, he mesmerizes. Landis executes the long crane shot, then moves in for close-ups and dialogue. “It’s only a movie,” Jackson reassures his date. “You were scared, weren’t you?”
Landis calls for another take and coaxes: “Make it sexy this time.”
“How?” asks Jackson.
“You know, as if you want to fuck her.”

This is it. Ich habe vor zwei Tagen zum ersten mal vor dem Grab meines Vaters gestanden (er starb vor weniger als einem Jahr und ja: ich flenne grade) und was das in mir ausgelöst hat, kann ich nicht formulieren. Aber ich kann’s versuchen.
Mein Vater hat mit Michael Jackson bis auf den Moonwalk eher nichts gemeinsam gehabt, aber fuck, konnten die beiden rückwärts gehen.
Nicht wirklich.
Jackson hinterließ ein Loch in meiner Popkultur, mein Vater hinterließ ein Loch in meiner Welt. Gemerkt habe ich das zum Beispiel gestern, als ich die traditionelle Weihnachtsgans zuzubereiten versuchte. Die war okay, die Gans und sie schmeckte auch gut, aber der Moment, in dem ich den Platz meines Vaters an der Sptize des Esstischs einnahm, war…
Keine Ahnung. Wahrscheinlich der fremdartigste Moment meines Lebens. Ich bin noch nicht bereit für die Spitze des Esstischs. I’m no leader like you, dad.

Endlich hat mal einer Michael Jacksons Zockerleidenschaft (immerhin war seine „Garage“ voller Arcade-Automaten) zu einem T-Shirt verwurstet und seinen Thriller-Zombie mit Left 4 Dead gemasht.
With so many Michael Jackson Tee’s out there I wanted to have 1 I could call my own that wasn’t cheesy or generic so I started brainstorming. What I came up with is this Thriller tribute inspired by one of my favorite video games “Left 4 Dead”. I screen printed a few of these and the reaction from people was awesome so I decided to sell a few.

Geburtstags des toten King of Pop statt, Johnny ist zufällig in einen in Berlin geraten und hat gefilmt, der Hamburger Flashmob oben begeistert mich aber etwas mehr (zumindest das Video). Der Anfang ist nicht weniger als grandios.
