ZOMFG! 3D-gedruckter Endlos-Bacon als Moebius-Loop! Ich dachte ja eigentlich, das Supermario-Level als Moebius-Loop wäre unschlagbar, aber das hier ist nochmal eine Ecke unfassbarer, ich meine, jetzt mal ernsthaft: ZOMG! INFINITE MOEBIUS-BACON!1!ELF!! Das Internet wäre hiermit komplett, besser kann’s nicht werden.

Kam gestern mit UPS: Mein unendlicher, 3D-gedruckter Super Mario Level-Moebius Loop. Eine zweidimensionale Manifestation einer virtuellen Retrogame-Realität im realen, dreidimensionalen Raum. Unendliche Pixel-Klempner. I’m so in Love.
Sachlich: Ich bin sehr begeistert wegen der Lieferzeit. Ich hatte das Teil am 19. September bei Shapeways in Amerika bestellt, 6 Tage später war das Ding da. Das Material fühlt sich sehr rauh an und die Farben könnten insgesamt etwas satter sein, das ist aber Jammerei auf ‘nem sehr hohen Niveau, weil: Ein Supermariolevel-Moebius-Loop. Bestellen kann man das Teil für ‘nen Zwanni nach wie vor hier, ich hab’ grade drei HighRes-Bilder davon auf Flickr hochgeladen.

Okay, this is beyond awesome: Das erste Level aus Supermario als 3D-gedruckte Möbius-Schleife. This! Ich will, glaube ich, ab heute nur noch Retrogame-Level als 3D-gedruckte Moebius-Loops posten. Ich finde das tatsächlich so großartig, dass ich mir das Ding grade eben bestellt hab: „Your order will ship by October 1st“. Ich bin sehr gespannt.
This is a mobius strip of Level 1 or Super Mario Bros. The whole level is wrapped around itself in a single surface, and poor Mario begins and ends at the same spot every time.
All the elements from the level are there: every mushroom, turtle, cloud and star. They are all carved out of the surface at different heights, which looks fantastic when you have a light coming from the side, and each block casts a shadow.
Moebius-Shirt
Ein Redditor hat dieses Shirt irgendwie so hinbekommen. Ich kann den Shirt-Knoten mit meinem kleinen Hirn grade nicht nachvollziehen oder anders formuliert: WTF is this, I don’t even…
- Right shoulder over left shoulder, turn shirt inside out by pulling top through the inside of the shirt… if that doesn’t work, you may well indeed have a mobius shirt on your hands.
- A pretzel would know.
