Not Pacman
This mashup of “Not” and “Pacman” puts The Pac and the Ghosts in a in a Pacworld cage, at mercy of gravity and the level’s shape, controlled solely by you. Ghosts still don’t like you very much, so you should be careful to make Pacman avoid them.
Features:
- Pacman now moves absolutely realistically: Because physics.
- Intense pellet action: Other than that, the rules are for the most part identical as in Pac-Man

How-To make a DIY Pacman-Ghost Mawari-Doro Turning-Lamp
WANT!
The tutorial below will show you how to make your own “Mawari-Doro” or Japanese turning lamp customized to look like a goblin from the arcade classic, Pac-Man. The shell spins due to convection. Heat from the bulb causes the air around it to rise. The rising air passes through the slits in the top of the cylinder and the piece spins. There is no electric motor. It runs entirely on a single incandescent light bulb.
Here I will show you how to make a better version of what’s shown in the video. The eyes and color will be projected using a heat-resistant photographer’s gel that can be easily removed and reapplied if the bulb burns out. The pupils will be movable so you can have the eyes look in any direction. You have the choice of printing out a cylinder that spins clockwise or counterclockwise. You’ll also be able to make any of the ghosts: Blinky, Pinky, Inky, Clyde and “don’t eat me!” blue.
Pac Mac-Watch made from Moon Rocks and Apollo 11-Parts

Romain Jerome is once again taking you on a crazy round of video games with a limited series of 80 watches designed after the cult PAC-MAN™. In association with NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc. RJ-Romain Jerome is bringing the famous insatiable yellow character back to life with four series of 20 pieces paying tribute to this generational flagship Eighties icon. INSERT COIN! […]
LET’S PLAY … Having inherited the highly distinctive case of the Moon Invader collection, a circle in a cambered 46 mm square, the PAC-MAN watches also feature steel fused with fragments of Apollo 11. The four ball-and-socket joints at the corners of the case are functional and designed like the legs of the lunar landing module in American lunar expeditions. Boasting a highly sophisticated construction, and mounted on axles anchored in the case, these ball-and-socket joints hold the lugs of the rubber straps and their mobility make the watch easily adaptable to all wrist sizes. On the back of the watch, a disc made of Moon SilverRJ – a low-oxidation silver fused with moon rocks – reproduces the surface of the Moon. Each of the three dial levels is engraved with a pixelated matrix. The lower two levels are beadblasted, while the upper level features straight-grained edges. The characters and fruits adorning the dial stem from meticulous craftsmanship. Machined piece by piece, applied by hand and gem-set, they are subsequently lacquered with different colours or with black superluminova “green emission”, thus recreating actual game sequences. POWER UP!

Pac-Man Ghost Behavior-Analysis
The ghosts are always in one of three possible modes: Chase, Scatter, or Frightened. The “normal” mode with the ghosts pursuing Pac-Man is Chase, and this is the one that they spend most of their time in. While in Chase mode, all of the ghosts use Pac-Man’s position as a factor in selecting their target tile, though it is more significant to some ghosts than others. In Scatter mode, each ghost has a fixed target tile, each of which is located just outside a different corner of the maze. This causes the four ghosts to disperse to the corners whenever they are in this mode. Frightened mode is unique because the ghosts do not have a specific target tile while in this mode. Instead, they pseudorandomly decide which turns to make at every intersection. A ghost in Frightened mode also turns dark blue, moves much more slowly and can be eaten by Pac-Man. However, the duration of Frightened mode is shortened as the player progresses through the levels, and is completely eliminated from level 19 onwards.

Realistic Pac Man in Formaldehyd

Each piece is based on a classic videogame character as seen through the prism of real-life anatomy. They are rendered in clay, painted with acrylics and sealed in resin to give the appearance of a specimen preserved in formaldehyde. Seen here is a P. rotundus, which is based on Pac Man.

Voting-Machine Pac Man-Mod
(Youtube Direktpacman, via Make)
This is the Sequoia AVC Edge touch-screen DRE voting machine. In 2008, it was used in jurisdictions with almost 9 million voters. Alex Halderman and Ari Feldman replaced the voting software with Pac-Man. They did this in three afternoons, without breaking any tamper-evident seals. It would be easy to modify the software to steal votes, but that’s been done before, and Pac-Man is more fun.

Original Pac-Man-Skizzen

This is Videogame-History.
The sketches date back to either late 1979 or early 1980, and are in remarkable condition. Iwatani brought the sketches with him to the NLGD Festival of Games in the Netherlands earlier this month, where he received an award from the Guinness World Records, which has acknowledged Pac-Man as having the most coin-operated arcade machines installed world wide.
