Super Mario Mushroom Shopdropping

Coming soon to a grocery store near you. Take one a day for maximum growth… I wish I could have seen the person who finds them.

Glitchart-Software shopdropped in the Apple Store

Corrupt.desktop glitch, in real time, the computer’s desktop image. So if you want to glitch your local Apple Store or Apple Retailer simply download the App (from the shop’s computer):

5 Years ago: Banksy punks Paris Hilton

(Youtube Direktparis)

Aus der BBC-Meldung damals: Paris Hilton targeted in CD prank – Hundreds of Paris Hilton albums have been tampered with in the latest stunt by “guerrilla artist” Banksy.

Banksy has replaced Hilton’s CD with his own remixes and given them titles such as Why am I Famous?, What Have I Done? and What Am I For? He has also changed pictures of her on the CD sleeve to show the US socialite topless and with a dog’s head.

A spokeswoman for Banksy said he had doctored 500 copies of her debut album Paris in 48 record shops across the UK. She told the BBC News website: “He switched the CDs in store, so he took the old ones out and put his version in.” But he left the original barcode so people could buy the CD without realising it had been interfered with. […]

No customers had complained or returned a doctored version, he said.

TrustoCorps Fake-Mag Shopdropping

No details were spared as headlines blasted celebrities and public figures like Lindsey Lohan, Sarah Palin and Donald Trump in hypothetical features of entertaining variants for ever popular gossip magazines such as US, People and OK. What’s more is that each page of the tabloid have an embedded alphanumeric code that leads to a secret website for people that can figure it out. So keep your eyes peeled as you pass by your local newsstands as you may be lucky enough to find that TrustoCorp made a special delivery in your neighborhood.

TrustoCorps New Americana-Exhibition

(via Superpunch)

Ich mag ja den Boombox-Einkaufswagenbuggy.

Street art collective Trustocorp opened their first LA solo, ‘New Americana’, on Saturday evening at Gallery 1988. The weekend-only show highlights the clever design, political wit, and social insight that has made Trustocorp one to watch since their debut at last year’s Art Basel Miami. ‘New Americana’ explores the changing culture of America through Trustocorp’s signature faux street signs and several large paintings which employ multiple panels to represent multiple perspectives of key social issues. The group also presented a store display featuring a selection of classic as well as several new faux products ($20 – $50) including Frosted Faith, American Pride, Obesitea, and Medicade.

Rounding out the art within the gallery, Trustocorp teamed up with Klipsch and DJ Fred Wreck on a wild golden urban shopping cart complete with massive speaker, remote control hydraulics and yes, even ground effect lighting.

Centennial Societys Anarchy-Art

This small, sixteen-page pamphlet is produced to put inside the postage-paid, business-reply envelopes that come with junk mail offers. Every envelope collected is stuffed with the pamphlet and mailed back to its original company.“ Unbedingt alles durchklicken, grandiose Arbeiten.
