More Troma Treasure Trash auf Youtube: Rabid Grannies!

The Musical!

Italian Spiderman – Complete & Uncut

Jedenfalls: Italian Spiderman!

(via Dangerous Minds)

Italian Spiderman is a film parody of Italian action–adventure films of the 60s and 70s, first released on YouTube in 2007. The parody purports to be a “lost Italian film” by Alrugo Entertainment, an Australian film-making collective formed by Dario Russo, Tait Wilson, David Ashby, Will Spartalis and Boris Repasky.

Ostensibly an Italian take on the comic book superhero Spider-Man, the film is a reference to foreign movies that misappropriate popular American superheroes such as the Turkish film “3 Dev Adam” and the Japanese TV series “Spider-Man”, both of which alter the character of Spider-Man for foreign audiences. Other notable entries include the Indian version of Superman (1987), I Fantastici Tre Supermen (3 Fantastic Supermen) (1967) and La Mujer Murcielago (The Batwoman) (1968). It also resembles the movie The Bathman dal pianeta Eros (1982).

Troma puts its Treasure Trove of Trash on Youtube

Thomas schreibt mir: “Troma stellt gerade offiziell zig Filme for free bei Youtube rein.

Featuring an all-star cast, eye-popping special effects, non-stop excitement, action and laughs, MONSTER IN THE CLOSET pays homage to many of the great films of the horror genre. If you liked Mel Brooks HIGH ANXIETY, you’ll shriek with horror and humor at MONSTER IN THE CLOSET. San Francisco is the scene of a series of bizarre murders and all the murders have taken place in the victims’ closets. A local newspaper editor (Jesse White) sends his obituary writer Richard (Donald Grant) to follow up on what he believes is a routine story; meanwhile, the murders continue.

A lovely couple (Paul Dooley and Stella Stevens) as well as a blind man (John Carradine) fall victim to the MONSTER IN THE CLOSET. When the monster finally decides to come out of the closet, the President declares a national emergency and sends the army, commanded by General Thurnbull (Donald Moffat) to destory it. Scary, hilarious, madcap and totally unpredictable. Monster in the Closet also two young performers who would go on to become major stars: Paul Walker (The Fast and the Furious) and Stacy Ferguson (Fergie from the musical sensation Black Eyed Peas).

Review of mexican Punxploitation Movie „Intrepidos Punks“

 Youtube Direktpunx

When it comes to punksploitation movies, you’re going to be hard-pressed to top Intrepidos Punks. Even genre heavyweights like Class of 1984 and Never Too Young to Die pale in comparison to this batshit insane paen to everything that was glorious about cinema’s misrepresentation of punks. It’s basically every alarmist rumor about punk rock — not to mention just about every single convention of 70s exploitation film — rolled into a single representation: drugs, orgies, spitting, bad hair, Satanic rituals, murder, rape, loud music, makin’ faces at the squares, and with the addition of dune buggies and, for some reason that can only be “because it’s Mexico,” a luchadore. We begin with a line of nuns walking down the street to a bank, which they promptly rob. Because these aren’t nuns at all; these are the women of the titular intrepidos punks, amassing cash so they can buy weapons and drugs that will help them free the imprisoned male members of the gang.

The reveal of the female punks is perhaps the greatest transformation scene in cinema history, as they strip away their nun duds to reveal leather thongs, metal bikini tops, sequins, chains, lace, mesh, breasts, and all manner of candy colored punk rock hair. The leader is the sneering, snarling Beast, played by actress Princess Lea (obviously her real name), and the height of her platinum blonde hairdo defies all known physics. And though her hair and studded leather bikini may be one of the star attractions, my heart was immediately stolen by the girl with the choppy red hair and spider-web face paint. For me, the true stars of the film are the girl with the spiky red hair and spiderweb face paint and the guy with the bright red poodle perm mullet, Fu Manchu mustache, lazy sort of expression, and exceptionally proud posture.

Turkish Punk vs Turkish Star Wars

New Wave hinterlegt: „Turkish punk, new wave, no wave, psychedlia and hard rock vs. Turkish Star Wars (The Man Who Saved The World).“ Gran-di-os, fantastische Idee!

(Vimeo Direktpunk)

Turkish-made film commonly known as Turkish Star Wars because of its notorious bootlegging of Star Wars film clips worked into the film. Released in 1982, Dünyayı Kurtaran Adam was created in Turkey caught in the midst of massive political upheaval. As a result, American-made films were not easily acquired and were often remade with a Turkish cast and setting. The musical soundtrack is entirely lifted from Western film hits of the time, primarily using Raiders of the Lost Ark. There are also scenes incorporating the music of Moonraker, Flash Gordon, Battlestar Galactica, Planet of the Apes and Disney’s The Black Hole. Film’s considered the worst ever.

‪Hofmann’s Potion (LSD documentary)‬‏ – YouTube: The documentary delves into the little known early history of the world's most notorious psychedelic.Long before Timothy Leary urged a generation to "turn on, tune in and drop out," lysergic acid diethylamide, or LSD, was being used by researchers trying to understand the human mind. This documentary is a fascinating look at the story of "acid" before it hit the streets.Featuring interviews with many LSD pioneers, Hofmann's Potion is much more than a simple chronicle of the drug's early days. <br />
With thoughtful interviews, beautiful music and stunning cinematography, it is an invitation to look at LSD, and our world, with a more open, compassionate mind.

The Bible of Western War, Now Featuring Cartoon Animals | Danger Room | Wired.com: On War is Clausewitz’s attempt to distill warfare down to its enduring essentials. Its only equal is Sun Tzu’s The Art of War. If you’ve heard the phrase, “war is politics by other means,” you know the nickel version. If you want to go for the jackpot, stroll over to one of the war colleges or onto any military listserv to hear people debate Clausewitz’s relevance to their pet issue or dispute what he really said like he was Marshall McLuhan in Annie Hall. But if you’d like something in between, Fitzgerald’s Clausewitz for Kids blog is slowly recasting On War, section by section, into a lecture series in the Prussian forest, conducted by Hare Clausewitz (get it?), the intense-looking rabbit officer pictured above in Napoleonic-era regalia.

CINEMETRICS: cinemetrics is about measuring and visualizing movie data, in order to reveal the characteristics of films and to create a visual “fingerprint” for them. Information such as the editing structure, color, speech or motion are extracted, analyzed and transformed into graphic representations so that movies can be seen as a whole and easily interpreted or compared side by side.

Christian Groß — SMS to Paper Airplanes: The text messages were filtered and analyzed using PROCESSING. The sender was encoded by the direction of the paper airplane, the length of the message with its size and the amount of positive emotional words with the amounts of folds. Additionally the paper airplanes were divided in two types depending on the length of their text. Finally, the paper airplanes resulting from this construction plan were placed in the room depending on the time when they were sent, as well as their emotional value.

‪Chicago: The Ferris Bueller high school‬‏ – YouTube: You can make a strong case for The Blues Brothers as the definitive Chicago film, but Ferris Bueller's Day Off almost seems like a 103-minute commercial from the Chicago Office Of Tourism. That was no accident. Director (and Chicagoan) John Hughes described the film as his "love letter" to the city. He wanted to capture "not just the architecture, but the spirit."

Killer Klowns from outer Space – The Sequel!

- You’ve been the main source of information regarding this sequel. What’s your involvement with the project?
I’m reprising my role as Mike Tobacco as well as producing. I also worked on the story with the Chiodo’s and wrote the screenplay.

- How involved will the Chiodo’s be with the film?
The Chiodo Bros. are involved in a huge way. The original was their baby and though this one is a little bit more collaborative than the first being that I’m writing and producing with them, it’s still their brainchild and I wouldn’t have dreamed of doing it without them. Stephen will be directing, Ed producing and Charlie bringing all his wonderful creative genius as he always does. The Chiodo’s are good friends as well!

- Can you share any plot details with us in regards to the film? Will it be a totally new story or will it be connected to the first?
Well, I don’t want to say too much about the story at this early juncture but I will say that it is connected to the first movie and my character will be the mentor to the two new young leads that have to try save the world from the Klowns when they return. They’re also trying to save themselves because the bad stuff the Klowns do at first gets blamed on them.

-Will the original Klowns be returning or will we be treated to a new batch this time around?
Definitely we’ll have a whole new batch of Klowns. I just left the Chiodo Bros’ studio and they are dreaming up some great new Klown faces as we speak.

- What’s the current status of this project?
We have a script and a commitment for all our funding but the money can’t be spent until we have a distribution deal in place so that’s where we are – talking to distributors. As soon as that final piece comes into place we should be pretty much good to go.

Trailers from Hell: Q – The Winged Serpent

(Youtube Direktq)

Yes, the Zombie-vs-Shark-Movie.

Originally promoted as a sequel to Dawn of the Dead, this is also known as Zombie 2(!), Zombie Flesh Eaters and numerous other titles. It’s sort of a Trailers from Hell milestone–our first Lucio Fuci trailer! And who better to dissect it than the director of Hellboy?

Hier die Liste aller Trailers from Hell, kiss your sunday goodbye.

The Fantasy of the Deer Warrior

The happy lives of animals in the forest are stirred by the sudden attack of a pack of wolves. The Uncle Deer comes to rescue, and asks Birdy to notify his son, the deer. Sika Deer and the Deer are fighting for the Miss Deer inextricably. When the Deer rushed to his father, the Uncle Deer has died, and he asked his son to revenge before dying.
