Die erste Folge der Portal-Webseroe „Aperture R&D“, hier gibt’s noch ein Behind-The-Scenes-Video. Ist nicht so schlimm geworden, wie ich befürchtet hatte – aber auch nicht so wirklich gut. Mal sehen, wie sich das noch entwickelt.

Machinima bringt ab 15. März ‘ne Portal-Webserie namens „Aperture R&D“ von Julian Higgins und Zack Finfrock, die vor zwei Jahren den Fallout-Fanfilm Nuka Break gedreht hatten. Soll sowas wie „The Office meets Aperture Labs“ werden, der Trailer sieht allerdings leider nicht nach etwas aus, das ich mir ansehen würde. Abwarten.

Neil Patrick Harris dreams in Puppets
Neil Patrick Harris hat eine neue Webshow im Nerdist-Channel am Start, der Behind-The-Scenes-Trailer ging vor ein paar Tagen rum, jetzt haben sie den ersten Teil online gestellt. Das Ding wird eine insgesamt siebenteilige Webserie mit NPH, seinem Lebenspartner David Burtka und jeder Menge Puppen aus der Henson Company. Ich find’s ehrlich gesagt bislang ein bisschen unkomisch, leider, aber das wird wahrscheinlich noch, der Auftakt der Show ist laut Entertainment Weekly bewusst zahm.
While upcoming episodes promise drag queens, puppet sex, and a surprising amount of nudity — this ain’t a family webseries — the first episode features a simple fear of falling and a vividly illustrative song penned by co-creator and producer Janet Varney.

Hier der erste Teil der Battlestar Galactica-Prequelserie „Blood & Chrome“. Die Serie kommt zunächst als Webisodes im Machinima-YT-Channel und hat dann im Februar TV-Premiere auf SyFy: „the webisodes will follow young William Adama (Luke Pasqualino) during the first Cylon war. Young Adama will serve on the top-of-the-line (at the time) Battlestar Galactica, where he butts head with his co-pilot officer Coker (Ben Cotton).“
Watch With Mother: Horror-Comedy from Australia
Großartiger Trailer zur Webserie/Android-App Watch with Mother von der Glue Society aus Australien. Die Serie gibt’s als Android-App auf GooglePlay, wurde konzeptionell auch als Tablet-Serie entwickelt, aber die Serie gibt’s trotzdem auch als Downloads im iTunes-Store (2$ pro Folge a 20 Minuten, mehr als fairer Preis), leider nicht hierzulande und „alternative Möglichkeiten“ habe ich (noch) nicht gefunden.
Watch With Mother isn’t your typical sketch show. It’s a sketch horror show. So don’t expect light entertainment, because this is dark stuff. What’s more, the entire series has been specially created to be experienced on tablets running Android™ via a multi-featured App. It’s a show unlike any other. It’s an experience unlike any other.
Ich bleib aber definitiv dran, denn der Trailer und nicht zuletzt die derben Stills auf der Website haben mich überzeugt und bei der Szene mit dem Stuhl musste ich schreien vor Lachen und ich musste mir die zweimal ansehen. Eine absurdere Todesszene hab’ ich noch nie – Nie! – gesehen. Es gibt auch einen Clip aus jeder einzelnen der sechs Folgen, die hab’ ich auf Youtube in ‘ne Playlist gepackt, die gibt’s nach dem Klick.
Italian Spiderman – Complete & Uncut
Im November 2007 ging ein Fake-Trailer zu einem italienischen Trashfilm namens “Italian Spiderman” durchs Netz, ein halbes Jahr später kündigten sie die Webisodes an (hier Teil 1, hier Teil 2, hier Teil 3 bis 8, 9, 10) und jetzt hat einer der Beteiligten eine Uncut-Version davon bei Vimeo hochgeladen. Die Leute haben dann Ende 2011/Anfang 2012 die Webserie “Danger 5″ gedreht, den Trailer dazu hatte ich hier gepostet, im YT-Channel von Dinosaur Worldwide gibts alle Webisodes der ersten Folge The Diamond Girls. Jedenfalls: Italian Spiderman!

Italian Spiderman is a film parody of Italian action–adventure films of the 60s and 70s, first released on YouTube in 2007. The parody purports to be a “lost Italian film” by Alrugo Entertainment, an Australian film-making collective formed by Dario Russo, Tait Wilson, David Ashby, Will Spartalis and Boris Repasky.
Ostensibly an Italian take on the comic book superhero Spider-Man, the film is a reference to foreign movies that misappropriate popular American superheroes such as the Turkish film “3 Dev Adam” and the Japanese TV series “Spider-Man”, both of which alter the character of Spider-Man for foreign audiences. Other notable entries include the Indian version of Superman (1987), I Fantastici Tre Supermen (3 Fantastic Supermen) (1967) and La Mujer Murcielago (The Batwoman) (1968). It also resembles the movie The Bathman dal pianeta Eros (1982).
